Dua makes it three top 10 debuts

Taylor Swift sticks at #1 for a third week on the ARIA Albums Chart with The Tortured Poets Department, while Dua Lipa’s third studio album Radical Optimism arrives at #2.

Home to the recent hits Houdini, Training Session and lllusion, Radical Optimism is Dua’s third top 10 album: Dua Lipa topped out at #8 in 2017 and Future Nostalgia spent three non-consecutive weeks at #1 across 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Ten-time ARIA Award winner Sia returns with Reasonable Woman, her first album in three years. It debuts at #14. It’s her 10th studio album, two of which – 1000 Forms Of Fear in 2014 and This Is Acting in 2016 – went to #1.

In Aussie success, Byron Bay’s Bobby Alu is new at #83 with Keep It Tropical. It’s his fourth album and first to chart.

Sabrina Carpenter claims her first #1, as Espresso steps up from #2 last week. Carpenter co-wrote it with Amy Allen – who has penned hits for Halsey, Tiesto, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez and others – as well as Steph Jones and Julian Bunetta.

American singer-rapper Tommy Richman’s first hit, Million Dollar Baby, zips from #33 to #2.

Kendrick Lamar debuts in the top 10 with two diss tracks: Euphoria at #8 and Not Like Us at #9. Both are in response to Drake’s songs and comments directed at Lamar and the latest move in their ongoing and increasingly vicious feud. He has now scored 12 top 10 hits, including the 2015 chart-topper Bad Blood with Taylor Swift.
